1976. FOUNDATION XIOMARA
Envasado Xiomara was founded in 1976 by D. José Luis Labiaga, Spanish entrepreneur who had founded Xiomara in 1960 in Mexico. Xiomara Mexico was specialized in hair-care products. This company, which was sold in 1971, is still operating successfully in Mexico. His first Spanish factory was established in Illescas, Toledo.
1980s and 1990s. PRODUCTS PRIMARILY RELATED TO THE HIGH-END COSMETICS, EXPORT AND DIVERSIFICATION
In the 1980s, the company focused its efforts on diversifying the product range. In the following decade Xiomara began to export all over Europe and to the United States, driving its growth.
2000s. EXPANSION OF COMMERCIAL OFFER
The company diversified its commercial offering further by creating several brands and entering further new markets.
2009. GROWTH AND IMPROVING EFFICIENCY
José Luis Labiaga sold the company to a new management team whose strategic goals were to boost growth and product range along with increasing efficiency and establishing a commitment to continuous improvement.
In the 2010s. EXPANSION AND INCREASE IN FOREIGN MARKET
Envasado Xiomara has a very experienced team, that is however young and managing a growing operation, committed to meeting the demands of its customers efficiently. Following this target defined by the new management team, in 2012 Envasado Xiomara acquired the Madrid-based company Aerosoles Preval, that has contributed additional capacity and knowledge to the group.
